Raderthal provides many outdoor pursuits. The neighbouring green belt, with its wide fields offers plenty of room for walking and playing games. Hobby football teams often meet here, and use the fields for training.


The large new playground in the Fritz-Encke Park is particularly suitable for parents and small children.


The banks of the Rhine, e.g. in Rodenkirchen are also especially beautiful. Rodenkirchen is on 130 bus route, and from the central bus stop, it’s easy to reach the Rhine banks on foot. Bicycle trips or walks are ideal here, or a picnic with a view of the river. But be careful! Swimming in the Rhine is not allowed, as the strong river current is highly dangerous!


For swimmers, the Zollstock swimming pool can also be reached on the 130 Bus. The bus stops directly at the entrance. There swimming lanes and spring-boards for the adults, and playing pools for the children:
